A Call to Action

Staffer & Sons Construction is a local construction company that went out of thier way to help a deserving family! In September of this year with the help of the Colorado Springs Storm (a 13 year-old boys baseball team) sent out a "call to action" asking local companies to donate time, money and material to a good cause and the support was overwhelming!

Here at Coutura we are proud to have several companies who stepped up and donated in various ways. So a special thanks to Accent Landscapes, Tecc Painting and C&C Sand & Stone for contributing! We also wanted to thank Staffer & Sons as well as any other companies who supported, it is inspiring to see ther community come together!

C&C Sand and Stone Co. was recognized last month for their efforts to give back to the community during a dedication at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. C&C was one of several local businesses who were kind enough to donate materials for the building of the new west entrance sign of the UCCS campus. The sign is located at the intersection of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Nevada Avenue it is a 54 foot wide and 13 foot tall solor powered sign that is intended to mark the area of the expanding university property. Next time you drive by be sure to take a look at appricate what happens when a community pools together to make Colorado Springs a better place.  We are very excited to share that one of Coutura's own, Kevin's Kustom Welding, gets the honor of being able to help Dick Wilhelm of Wilhelm Monument Company with a permanent 9-11 monument. This monument will be showcasing an actual I-beam from the Trade center wreckage and will be displayed at the Air Force Academy in the very near future.
